Getting in
- North Eleuthera Airport: This is the useful gateway, not an airport you arrive at and then ‘taxi to town.’ Take the short airport taxi to the North Eleuthera ferry dock (about US$5 per person), then the water taxi across to Harbour Island (about US$5 per person). Allow roughly 30–45 minutes end to end, including the possible wait—boats may wait up to 15 minutes to fill. Porters commonly handle bags from the tarmac onward; tip accordingly (Wikivoyage suggests about US$5 for three bags).
