Madivaru Airport, Naifaru: This is the useful airport for Naifaru. Arrange the short boat transfer to Naifaru through your guesthouse or host before flying; there is no meaningful airport-to-town bus or taxi system. The crossing is typically only around 10 minutes, but publicly reliable transfer fares and schedules are not well published, so get the boat included or quoted in writing.
Velana International Airport, Malé: For Naifaru, use a domestic connection to Madivaru (LMV) and a pre-arranged boat onward. Do not choose a long speedboat crossing from Malé merely because it looks cheaper: Lhaviyani is far north, the ride can take hours and the open-sea crossing is often rough. Seaplanes from Velana reach Lhaviyani resorts in roughly 20–30 minutes, but these are generally resort-arranged transfers, not a casual public shuttle to Naifaru; confirm the final boat leg before booking.
Naifaru ferry jetty: MTCC’s inter-island ferry is the budget-minded way in from Olhuvelifushi, Kurendhoo, Felivaru and Hinnavaru; service is reported five days a week. It is practical only when its sailing time matches your plan—treat it as transport, not an excursion, and verify the current timetable and fare locally before relying on it.
