Nepal is open to leisure tourists and international arrivals are still recovering rather than collapsing. The main travel problem right now is a disaster-affected zone in the north, especially around Rasuwa and the Nepal-China border, where authorities are warning travelers away from damaged roads and unstable terrain. Most major tourist areas are still operating, but trip planning needs extra flexibility and caution.
