For the 2027 Indianapolis 500, ticket applications and reorders are being accepted; public live sales follow applications and upgrades in late fall 2026. Apply early if you need a particular section, shade, aisle seat, or contiguous group seats.

Free entry: Children age 15 and under enter free with a paid adult Indianapolis 500 Race Day general-admission ticketholder; this does not include a reserved grandstand seat.

Sold out? For sold-out Indianapolis 500 reserved seats, use the Official IMS Ticket Marketplace, the only IMS-verified secondary market, rather than social-media or cash sellers. If availability or resale prices do not work, book a May practice day, qualifying, Carb Day, Sonsio Grand Prix, Brickyard Weekend, or Battle on the Bricks instead.
