Time: Early morning or the final two to three hours before sunset for cooler cycling and lighter crossing traffic. · Late morning through mid-afternoon for spring and fall walks. · Start summer rides early to avoid heat, humidity and afternoon thunderstorms.
Avoid: Avoid lightning, severe storms, flooding, glaze ice, heavy snow and extreme heat; downtown reroutes and the Ravine Road section require traffic awareness.
