No lake-entry reservation, hiking permit, lottery, or campground permit is required to visit public shore access or paddle Minocqua Lake. Walking on Bearskin State Trail is free; obtain a Wisconsin state trail pass before bicycling. Fishing requires the applicable Wisconsin fishing license. For a trailered boat at Town of Minocqua ramps, pay the Town's launch permit by scanning the ramp QR code or using its online landing-payment system: $10 daily per tow vehicle (April 1–November 30), $30 for three days, or $100 seasonal. These are launch fees, not lake-entry tickets.
